At the top of the pink pyramid lives a little green
luminous man with a silver trumpet in his hand.
He's looking so happy, his cat-suit is so natty,
I'm gonna ask him to play in my band.
"Hey Billy Bear!"
"Yes hallo there!"
"I play the guitar and I'm forming a band..."
"YES OF COURSE I WILL, MAN!"
Let's call it Mink Terrapins, or maybe Zinc Zeppelin,
or maybe House of Pain?
The Ghost of Cinderella or how about the Black Umbrellas
or maybe just the Brain ?
We practice all night under black light,
borrow a car to play in a bar:
WE ARE GONNA BE BIG STARS!!
Beaming out pure positivity, green radio-activity,
live on air tonight
we invent a new paradigm of progressive rock pantomime
that sets the Japs alight.
We make a sort of future pop-art,
we're gonna support Davindra Bahnhart:
"GIVE THE BOYS A BIG BIG HAND!!!"
Billy Bear has an identical twin living in South America,
on top a mountain in Peru.
His vibe is so groovy, he's gonna put us in the movies
and fix us up a world tour.
Now Billy Bear is growing his hair,
one of the fans made him new pants:
NOW WE ARE THE WORLD'S BEST BAND!!!!
Black gold and white pyramid, faster than light pyramid,
pass Vega then turn right:
Head for the Cosmic Cranium, the Great Galactic Stadium,
tonight will be a lot of fun...
BUT I'VE NOT FORGOT ME MUM!!!!!
